She earned her PhD of Epidemiology and her Master in Biostatistics at the University of Minnesota. She received the Margarette S. Kolczak Award for her contribution in methods for maternal vaccine research. Her focus areas include cardiovascular epidemiology, vaccine safety and effectiveness during pregnancy, and comparative analysis using observational data.
