<p><strong>Overview/research interests: </strong>Research interests include the economics of prevention (with an emphasis on cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity), the impact of health technologies on individual behavior, health and science policy, and the social determinants of health. Methodological expertise includes microsimulation modeling, disease risk estimation, cost-effectiveness analysis, economic policy analysis, and approaches to causal inference from observational data.</p>
