Regions Hospital
Dr. Larson completed his fellowship in medical oncology in 1995 at the University of California, Davis. He and his young family then moved to Minnesota to join a private practice general oncology group. Over time he developed a special emphasis in thoracic and gastrointestinal malignancies. In addition to clinical duties, he has had the privilege of overseeing oncology research at a few excellent Twin Cities organizations and serving a few years as the medical director of his original large medical oncology practice. He is now heading into the final chapter of his medical career and wishes to use what he has learned and devote himself to innovative clinical cancer research. It is his goal to develop new therapies for our patients, now and in the future.

Medical Interests
Cancer research
Thoracic and GI malignancies

Education
Medical School: University of California San Francisco - 1989

Training
Fellowship in Oncology & Hematology: Sacramento Medical Center - 1995
Residency in Internal Medicine: University of California (Davis) Medical - 1992
Internship in Internal Medicine: University of California (Davis) Medical - 1990

Certifications
American Board of Internal Medicine - Hematology
American Board of Internal Medicine - Medical Oncology
