<p>Nonhealing skin ulceration is a cutaneous manifestation of the antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) and is associated with thrombosis of small dermal vessels. Numerous therapies have been described but are either ineffective or require a prolonged course of treatment with potential complications. We describe the efficacy of sildenafil, a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, in the treatments of such ulcers.<p>
