About

I am an orthopedic surgeon with dedicated training in sports medicine, hip arthroscopy and hip preservation surgery from the prestigious Boston Children's Hospital at Harvard Medical School. This is the oldest program of its kind in the United States. I am one of a small number of surgeons in the state with training in both sports medicine/hip arthroscopy and periacetabular osteotomy. I have a great passion for treating pre-arthritic conditions of the hip and am excited about the prospects of these surgeries to help patients return to their desired activity level. There is growing evidence to support that hip preservation surgery has the potential to delay or even prevent the need for a total hip replacement. Most importantly, I grew up in the Twin Cities and am excited to use my training to help maximize the quality of life for my patients.
