Dr. Bethany Crouse is a Research Project Manager at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Institute. Before joining the Institute, Dr. Crouse received her PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Minnesota in 2022, focusing on development of vaccines for opioid use disorders. Prior to this, she received a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Montana.

At the Institute, Dr. Crouse primarily supports clinical studies through the Neuroscience Research Center. She supports a portfolio of projects related to development of intranasal medications to treat neurological diseases, including Parkinson’s disease (PD), Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and traumatic brain injury. Other projects include topics such as clinical decision support, support for AD caregivers, and testing of devices for diagnosis and treatment of AD and PD.

• A continuous wearable monitor for the detection and release of freezing of gate in people with Parkinson’s Disease
• An insole device to monitor cognitive decline in individuals at risk for Alzheimer’s Disease
